L&E Horse Riding Guide for Beginners

Horse Riding For Beginners

L&E Horse Riding

L&E Horse Riding gives horse-mad children a chance to live and breathe ponies for the week. Our stable club will have use of a warm indoor arena, an outdoor dressage arena and paddocks, as well as miles of beautiful bridleways across areas of outstanding natural beauty.

“You will get your own horse for the week!”

The children will experience having their own pony for a week enjoying group lessons in stable management and horse care.  As well as riding, lessons will include handling and care of the horse, grooming and bandaging, plaiting and equine anatomy.

At the start of their stay, the children will be put into a suitable group based on experience. The last session of the week is a jumping competition where rosettes are awarded.

The Horse Riding course runs every afternoon for 3 hours Monday to Thursday.

Members of The Summer Camps Trust UK

11 November 2015

We are delighted to announce that Learn and Experience are an official member of The Summer Camps Trust.  We look forward to working closely The Summer Camps Trust…

“The Summer Camps Trust aims to raise awareness of the social and eductional benefits of the unique experiences that summer camps offer
The Summer Camps Trust want to enable many more young people in the UK to enjoy the fun and the learning from taking part in residential summer camps.

The Summer Camps Trust believe:

Residential summer camps offer real benefits to children

The Summer Camps Trust want children in the UK today to get the chance of running about and playing together, of having adventures, of making new friends in new places, of exploring the countryside, of laughter and excitement, of having stories at bedtime

The Summer Camps Trust want to support summer camps as a way for children to have real, exciting childhood experiences away from the world of TV, computer games and advertising. The life skills, the positive attitudes and the insights summer camps give are vitally needed

Summer camps should be a treasured national asset

The whole of society and education would gain from wider national recognition of summer camps, similar to that in America and France. The Summer Camps Trust want weeks to be regarded as important parts of educational provision for young people from all walks of life in the UK”
