Our final week is going to be something very special. A lovely first evening enjoying a BBQ under the evening sun and some classic L&E Wide Games…

Monday 21st July
We started the day with a classic camp breakfast of bacon and eggs, giving everyone a strong start before jumping into morning energizers like Fruit Salad and Bulldogs—guaranteed to get hearts racing and smiles going. Campers then chose from a variety of morning activities, including Young Global Leaders, English class, friendship bracelet making, and a lively game of soccer.
Lunch was a tasty serving of fish and chips, just what we needed before heading down to the lake to cool off and enjoy the water under the warm summer sun. After lake time, a quick change and a visit to the tuck shop, campers dove into afternoon activities with plenty of exciting options: basketball, rock painting, rock climbing, and laser tag.
Dinner brought a flavorful stir-fry, followed by one of our signature evening traditions—the famous L&E Icebreaker Games! Campers competed, laughed, and bonded through fun challenges before heading off to bed, tired and happy after another incredible day at camp.
Tuesday, 22nd July
Started the day off with some fabulous energiser games to get us excited and ready for the day. We then moved into our am activities which included young global leaders creating their own summer camps, intense tennis competitions and body painting for our creative campers.
We refuelled with a delicious lunch and jumped into the lake to cool off and chill out. Then moved into our afternoon activities, which were waterpolo, laser tag and creative chill.
We finished the day off with hot chocolate, marshmallows and songs at the amazing L&E campfire. Today was a great day and we’re excited for tomorrow!
Wednesday 23rd July
Today kicked off with a twist—our brilliant campers took the reins for Early Morning Energisers, leading stretches, silly games, and plenty of laughter to get everyone up and moving. There’s no better way to wake up than with your friends running the show!
After breakfast, we dove into a packed morning of YGL, where our young leaders planned their very own energisers for Friday. Watch out staff—these kids are coming for your jobs! Meanwhile, in English, we tackled past tenses through storytelling and games, bringing grammar to life in creative ways.
In our Creative session, the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies filled the air. Campers whipped up a variety of delicious treats, proving that culinary creativity is just as important as crafting and painting.
Out on the courts, the Sports crew played fast-paced games of basketball and soccer, showing off their skills and sportsmanship under the sun.
The afternoon brought adventure, with a Big Paddleboard Session out on the lake—calm water, big smiles, and lots of splashing made for unforgettable memories. Meanwhile, in the forest, our den-builders created incredible hideouts from natural materials, teamwork and imagination in full swing.
We rounded off the day with a camp favourite: The Great Big L&E Trivia Bonanza! Campers competed in teams, answering questions ranging from the ridiculous to the downright tricky. Laughter, clever guesses, and a few unexpected trivia buffs made it a brilliant end to an action-packed day.

Thursday 24th July
We kicked off the morning with a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs before launching into an epic game of Capture the Flag to get everyone moving. For morning activities, campers had a range of awesome options to choose from, including flag football, tie-dye shirt making, Young Global Leaders, and English sessions.
Lunch was a delicious spread of quesadillas and nachos—perfect fuel for a warm and sunny lake day. The afternoon was jam-packed with excitement, offering climbing, forest games, soccer, and tennis, along with one of the day’s biggest highlights: The Great Cake Bake Off, where campers got creative (and competitive) in the kitchen.
Dinner featured pasta and flavorful blackened chicken, just in time to gear up for one of the most anticipated events of the week: Theme Night! This week’s challenge was the legendary L&E Octopus Games, where campers competed in teams across a variety of wild games, from tug-of-war to archery. The night wrapped up with the dramatic showdown between baked goods and cakes—and plenty of laughter—before everyone headed to bed, full of memories (and maybe a little frosting).
