Experience the adventure of a lifetime at our World Camp UK, hosted at the prestigious Twyford School in Winchester, less than an hour from London.
L&E World Camps brings together young people from around the world mixed with local children allowing them to experience each others cultures as well as learning valuable life skills. Children can partake in our famous Programmes including English Language, Young Global Leaders, Young Creators (STEAM) and Young Explorers. There is a Full Evening Programme and they will also experience the country taking in exciting excursions at the weekend.
All this, while making friendships that span the globe along the way. With L&E, it is especially relevant that young people develop their independence, their confidence and their communication skills. Again and again, in their own words, they tell us they’ve had the time of their lives.

We think of an L&E World Camp as a community where children feel safe to try something new and to learn about each others cultures. Our UK camp is a truly immersive experience, which is helped by the many different nationalities that attend including native english speakers.
Your child will return home having tried activities never experienced before, visited historic English attractions, played new sports, toasted marshmallows around the campfire, climbing on real rock faces, starring in their own movie and having made friends for life from around the globe. They will be more confident, have a skip in their step, a smile on their face and probably begging to come back the next year.

What do we do each day?
Each day is broken into 3 parts and all children will have the opportunity to choose from our fantastic Activity Programmes in the morning and afternoon. Our famous Evening Programme is where the whole camp comes together and if staying for multi-weeks exciting excursions are available at the weekends.

Each morning, campers join one of our signature programmes, designed to match their interests and goals — from creative innovation to leadership, language learning, or all-round adventure.
Whether they want to develop confidence in English, lead a global team challenge, build and invent through STEAM, or enjoy a variety of sports and creative activities, there’s something for everyone.
English Language
Learn English in a fun, interactive, and immersive environment.
Through project-based learning, games, and real conversations, campers build confidence and fluency — both inside and outside the classroom.
Perfect for international campers looking to improve their spoken and written English while joining the full L&E experience.
Young Global Leaders
Build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills through inspiring challenges, debates, and social impact projects.
This program helps campers develop communication, empathy, and initiative — preparing them to lead in school, community, and beyond.
Empowering young people to make a difference.
Young Creators (STEAM)
Where Science meets Imagination.
Campers explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through hands-on projects — coding, design, robotics, art, and creative problem-solving.
Ideal for curious minds who love to make, build, and create.
Young Explorers (Multi-Activity)
The heart of L&E — a dynamic mix of sports, adventure, and creativity.
Each day brings something new: football, kayaking, art, drama, and outdoor challenges.
Perfect for campers who want to try it all and discover what they love most.
The amount of opportunities/ activities the children get is fantastic. I like that they are all gently persuaded (if necessary!) to have a go at everything, and are then helped to achieve and succeed even if they find something difficult. The independence they gain is invaluable.

Weekend Excursions
The weekend excursions include visiting the historical sites, shopping and local attractions.

Where is Twyford?
Twyford School is nestled in the charming village of Twyford, just 3 miles south of Winchester, a historic cathedral city in Hampshire. The school enjoys a picturesque setting amidst the rolling countryside, offering a tranquil and inspiring environment. For those traveling from London, Twyford is conveniently located approximately 65 miles southwest of the capital, easily accessible via a direct train to Winchester in under an hour.
Arrival & Departure
Arrival directly to camp is from 5pm on Sundays. We will have a BBQ available to all the family. This gives you a chance to meet the staff and see where your children are going to stay.
Departure is before 11am on Saturdays
Transfers
We can have an L&E member of staff meet your children and bring them to camp safely and securely. We try to be flexible but please don’t book travel until you have checked whether it is possible with us.
